ABOUT THE EVENT

Applications for the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme are now open!

The JET Programme promotes grassroots internationalisation at the local level. It operates all across Japan with participants working as assistant English language teachers primarily at elementary schools, junior high schools, and senior high schools for one to five years.

This international exchange programme has been running since 1987 and is administered by the Japanese Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), and the Council of Local Authorities for International Relations (CLAIR).
